House in Lake Rupanco by Alexander Beals, Christian Beals
November 8th, 2008 - Posted in Architecture projects, Green architecture, Residential architectureThe house was built on a site of 160 x 30 meters and a height of 36 meters, on the northern shore of Lake Rupanco.
Two volumes are built on a clear parallel left by the vegetation, open at their ends and perforated by the sides. Towards the top, a grove of myrtles and laurels. Towards the front, the view from the treetops and Lake.
Our disposal to build a workforce rudimentary, though accustomed to work and technique of wood. This, coupled with the remoteness of the terrain, which makes constructive opt for this scheme (with their respective details) known and tested. The structure is pine, the walls painted pine impregnated with carbolineum coatings and wood interior of mania and ulmo left to the natural.
Over time, the facades will be landslides, the construction will be settled, leading to confusion, with a little luck, with the other buildings of the place.
