Perfect Family House Architecture in Marbell by Baas Architect

The house is a pure and simple jewel a perfect square within the compact and eye-catching context of the grand houses from Marbella housing development. To take advantage of the incredible views to the sea and to avoid the indiscreet presence of the neighbours, the building is situated towards the front of a piece of land marked by a steep slope. The perfect square of the property grows out of the slope, creating an access floor with a covered parking area, the entrance hall and a generous porch which leads to the swimming pool. The top floor is the largest part of the building and is formed by a series of different sized patios which illuminate the interior spaces and the access floor. The rhythm of the patios, along with higher spaces, creates an original distribution full of diagonals and crisscross views which permits the entrance of diffuse light reminiscent of Arabic architecture.
