The home owners originally planed to build a main home up above it on a hill. After completing the home and living in it for a while they decided they preferred the small, peaceful cabin.A cabin in the mountains by a lake.

A single copper construction was created amidst the diversity of back façades with their richness of extensions. The copper was applied in folded horizontal lengths. Façade openings on the first floor and the balcony above can be completely closed off with hardwood shutters. In addition to the two-storey house extension, the interior was also completely rebuild. All rooms can be accessed from an open, spacious stairwell in the centre of the house.
