the Vine Hotel is a really strategic location for an urban visit or an island sightseeing voyage. It is the work of the Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill which was supported by Portuguese interior designer Nini Andrade Silva. They had made this Vine Hotel a representation of a contemporary architecture design with a drop of elegant and comfort. The interior design dominated by grey, green, purple and brown colors is the vision reflection of the award-winning Portuguese designer Nini Andrade Silva.

The building opened in May 2005 and is used to create consumer-driven products, packaging, and processes.  GIC features some of the following green elements and strategies:

A building-wide green cleaning program;
Lighting occupancy sensors;
Automated temperature sensors;
Monitored irrigation system that waters when necessary;
Abundant natural light throughout building;
Unique glass tension-cabled ceiling provides natural light (see below);

In 1973 Murray Cockburn Partnership succeeded Architects Engineers Partnership which was established by Murray Cockburn in Suva, Fiji in 1971.
