Tokyo is hoping to entice the IOC with their sustainably oriented plan, use of solar power, renovation of existing facilities and compact layout of the Olympic Village. Apart from providing green power, the stadium will also be offering the most compact games plan in history, with 97% of venues within an 8km radius of the Olympic Stadium and Olympic village located in the center of Tokyo.

To contrast one type of bold style, other rooms in his apartment are equally bold and deliberately designed to accent those strong shades of green or teal. Needless to say, it’s definitely a bold choice as a living space… granted, Miami beach is all about making bold design choices.

The house is planned so that all rooms can have a cross drought if required, day and night, to obviate the need for air-conditioning. Rainwater on primary roofs and terraces is collected and stored in large cisterns under the pool terraces.The entrance and rear gardens have been carefully terraced and landscaped using hand cut local stone for the retaining walls to the terraces which are planted with old olive trees and scented wild flowers. Olive trees are the only “new” plants introduced to the site
