This project comes to set a new architectural statement in the Pedregal area of Mexico City which has been neglected, because nothing new and important had happened since its beginings when “Cuidad Universitaria” was built. Nowadays the real-estate pressure and the need of services are beginning to promote significant changes.

Christina Zerva Born in Larissa, Greece in 1957. Graduated from Elkton high school in Oregon, United States of America in 1974. Studied at Technische Hochschule University of Innsbruck from 1975 to 1976 and at Thames Polytecknic from 1976 to 1977. She graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, in 1984. She created her studio Christina Zerva in 1991.Her architecture seeks to reduce waste of energy, water and materials. By taking advantage of a system of holistic design using technologies, methods and products which not only protect your health and the world around you, but actually enhance the spiritual, emotional, and mental quality of your daily experience.

This building is not lacking in selfconfidence. No sooner have you left behind a quiet row of smart private houses in the traditional millstone grit Parisian style with front steps and plane trees than you come face to face with an odd-looking building, imposing but also childishly simple, more cubist than cube-shaped, decidedly “flashy”, evoking happy memories of a child’s toy.

The Centara Grand Hotel and Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld Plaza was designed by BBG-BBGM and Tandem Architects is located near the busy intersection of Rama I and Ratchadamri Road in Bangkok, Thailand. Integrated into a multipurpose podium, in addition to the hotel public floors, this large volume houses parking floors and extensive convention facilities. [...]
