A folding wooden deck runs over the whole site, splitting housing from working and additional program. Private program is placed above the deck, whereas public program is located there under. Future Building Architecture allows people who do not live in the area to participate in the project too by renting an activity space on the waterfront.The activities under the deck transform the pier into a strip of communication. It is here, where public meets private!

The perfect square of the property grows out of the slope, creating an access floor with a covered parking area, the entrance hall and a generous porch which leads to the swimming pool. The top floor is the largest part of the building and is formed by a series of different sized patios which illuminate the interior spaces and the access floor. The rhythm of the patios, along with higher spaces, creates an original distribution full of diagonals and crisscross views which permits the entrance of diffuse light reminiscent of Arabic architecture.
